Hey Indie Hackers,

I’ve been building something that started as a small idea but has quickly become an obsession.

For years, I’ve watched the AI space explode with tools that promise to understand you, yet they forget your context the moment you close the chat. You have to re-explain everything every time — your goals, your projects, your style.

That didn’t sit right with me.

So I started building Jotium, the only AI Agent that truly never forgets, learns you deeply, and grows with you over time.

How It Started

Jotium was born from frustration. I wanted an AI that could think with me, not just answer questions, but remember decisions, understand my tone, anticipate what I’d need next, and evolve as I do.

At first, it was just a personal experiment, a simple system that could retain long-term context. But as I kept improving it, I realized this could change how people interact with AI entirely.

What Jotium Does Now

Right now, Jotium acts as a proactive memory-powered AI agent that:

• Learns your goals, habits, and communication style

• Retains your past conversations and builds long-term understanding

• Connects your thoughts, notes, and tasks so nothing slips through the cracks

• Feels like an assistant that actually grows smarter about you, not just smarter in general

It’s like having an AI that evolves with your mind instead of restarting every session.

The Challenges So Far

The hardest part has been balancing memory depth with privacy and speed. Making sure the agent remembers what matters and forgets what doesn’t has taken countless iterations.

Integrating learning patterns without turning the AI into an echo chamber has also been a huge challenge. But the results are becoming exciting. Jotium is starting to feel alive.

What’s Next

I’m currently testing Jotium with a few users, refining how it learns and interacts. The next step is opening it up for early adopters, people who want an AI that evolves with them, not just works for them.
