Krafio
Craft Project Tracker
Hey IH,
I launched Krafio — a project tracker for craft hobbyists — on
the App Store a while ago. It's live in every country. And I've
gotten exactly zero organic downloads.
I know the reasons intellectually:
- No reviews = algorithm ignores you
- No download velocity = no visibility
- ASO probably isn't optimized
But knowing the reasons and fixing them as a solo developer with
no marketing budget and no existing audience are two very different
things.
My specific situation:
- No budget for paid UA
- No personal network of iPhone users to ask for reviews
- Based in Turkey, so local craft communities are limited
What actually worked for you in the early days? How did you get
your first 10-20 downloads from strangers — not friends, not
family?
I'm not looking for generic advice. I want to know what you
specifically did that moved the needle.

Hey IH,
I'm Enes, a solo developer from Turkey. I recently launched Krafio
on the App Store — a project tracker for craft hobbyists.
The problem: crafters are incredibly dedicated to their hobby but
manage everything in the most chaotic ways. Scattered photos,
half-filled notebooks, sticky notes. There's no good mobile app
built specifically for them.
What Krafio does:
- Log and track multiple WIPs (works in progress)
- Track materials and inventory
- Never lose "what needle size did I use?" again
Current status: launched, $0 revenue, 0 reviews. I need real
users more than anything else right now.
If you do any kind of craft hobby and have an iPhone, I'd love
for you to try it and tell me what's broken, what's missing,
or what doesn't make sense. Honest feedback only — no need
to be polite.

I'm a solo developer from Turkey. Krafio exists because crafters are passionate but track everything in notebooks and scattered photos. Nobody was building specifically for them on mobile.
