MateFlow
Launch a branded community business — with AI built in
After a long build, MateFlow is live: an all-in-one platform for running a paid community (spaces, courses, events, payments, and a built-in AI assistant) on your own domain.
I'm going to use this space to build in public. Real numbers, decisions, and mistakes as we go, not a highlight reel.
We're also dogfooding it by running our own community on the product, so a lot of what I share will come straight from that.
If you run a paid community, or you've moved one off Facebook/Circle/Skool, I'd genuinely like to hear what worked and what didn't. Starting the journey here today.
About
Running a paid community shouldn't mean stitching six tools together, paying a platform a permanent cut of your revenue, and renting your brand on their subdomain. MateFlow fixes all three, on your own domain.

Dogfooding it by running your own community on MateFlow is probably the strongest part of the post. I'd trust screenshots and lessons from that a lot more than polished feature announcements.
I can imagine a creator asking ChatGPT "what's a good alternative to Circle or Skool where I own the brand" and discovering MateFlow for the first time. If they click through and can see an active community running on it already that answers a lot of questions before they even sign up.
Have people started joining because they've seen your own community in action yet or is that still something you're building toward?
Nice — the “dogfooding + building in public” angle fits this kind of product really well.
Feels clear and focused. If anything, I’d be curious what your main wedge is versus existing tools like Circle/Skool — that’s usually the first thing people will mentally compare it to.
I like that you're dogfooding the product.
The interesting part isn't whether it has more features than other community platforms. It's whether running your own community exposes friction before your customers do. That's a feedback loop most competitors can't easily replicate.
