I was discussing with a friend and he told me this service would be good as a back-end for legal departments in the companies. But I would need to integrate something like DocuSign.
I'm thinking about to add the DocuSign integration in the landing page just for the "Enterprise" plan and measure the results...

I'm planning to build a platform to host legaltech apps.
To be honest, I'm not sure where to find my customers. This product is good for anyone who needs to constantly create documents based on the same model (a Non-Disclosure Agreement, for example). Instead of duplicating the file and finding-and-replacing the strings, the user can just fill a simple form to populate the document variables. That's the core idea!
Then I think it's good for:
- accountants
- lawyers
- freelancers (for proposals and contracts)
- service providers (for proposals and contracts)
Perhaps there are more niches.
I'm still not sure where to find them :/
I have another company in which I should focus most of my time. As a maker, my mind is always consumed by a lot of new ideas but I never felt like it would worth to spend time on it.
Now this is the perfect side project. Since I already built it before, it will be easier to build and release the MVP. I know the short way :)
A few years ago I was hired as a contractor to build a system for a medium-size corporation here in Brazil. They had dozens of department, with dozens of employees, document types, models etc. Every document type were duplicated in many versions and the leaders were not able to track and control the right version.
The solution was to build a system to track all the lifecycle of a document; from the creation to the archiving. People wouldn't need to send a Word file via email anymore and the leaders would be able to review and approve the right version.
This project became one of the main tools for this company. And I always wanted to build it as a SaaS. This is why I started it as a side project now :)
