Retro Launch is a curated launch platform for tech products and startups. But we do things a little differently than most.

Anyone can submit a product, but we only feature the ones we believe show real promise. Each month, a new batch of products is added to the desktop for people to explore, discover, and support.

We believe the internet was more exciting when software felt real. When every new app or website felt like opening a door into the future.

That feeling inspired both Retro Launch and its visual style.

The design of this site is heavily inspired by Frutiger Aero, the aesthetic movement from the early 2000s built around optimistic visions of technology, nature, creativity, and the future. Glossy interfaces. Bright skies. Clean design. Technology in harmony with people instead of fighting for their attention.

Retro Launch aims to bring a little of that feeling back.

No endless product launch feeds. No shovelware uploaded just to farm traffic or backlinks. Just interesting startups made by people who care about what they're building.
