We Are Not Looking Only for People Who Already Have the Ability.
In the previous round of recruitment, we were looking for:
People with ambition and ability.
This round, we are looking for another kind of person:
People with ambition — or people who simply refuse to give up.
You may already be highly capable.
Or you may not be.
You may not even have any grand ambition right now.
You may simply want to come in, read for free, talk to other people, and learn something.
That's fine.
Because we are testing a different hypothesis:
Maybe ability creates ambition.
THE PROBLEM IS NOT AI
Today, everyone is talking about AI.
People imagine:
AI will democratize knowledge.
AI will democratize intelligence.
One person + AI will be able to build a company.
Everyone will have access to the world's knowledge.
There is nothing wrong with any of these aspirations.
Anyone has the right to imagine such a future.
But there is a very basic obstacle in reality:
Most people cannot effectively read across disciplines.
Not because they are stupid.
But because the modern knowledge system has become highly specialized.
Open a legal paper, and you encounter legal terminology.
Open financial materials, and you encounter financial terminology.
Open a scientific paper, and you enter another linguistic system.
Open historical research, and you enter yet another.
Even English itself has developed an enormous vocabulary.
No one can memorize every word.
It is even less realistic to expect an ordinary person to master the entire modern knowledge system through rote memorization.
So the question becomes:
How do you understand a word you have never learned?
That may be more important than:
“How many words have you memorized?”
WE ARE BUILDING A DIFFERENT KIND OF LANGUAGE TRAINING
This is what The Language of Relations is trying to solve.
It is not an ordinary English textbook.
Nor does it ask you to memorize thousands, tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of words in a year.
We are trying to train a different ability:
When you encounter something you don't know, learn how to decode it.
An unfamiliar English technical term does not necessarily need to be memorized immediately.
You can look for:
prefix → root → suffix → origin → related words → historical meaning → professional meaning → modern context
An unfamiliar Chinese character can likewise be approached through:
character form → etymology → original meaning → extended meanings → combinations → historical context
Ultimately, we want Chinese and English to become more than:
“I need to learn a second language.”
Instead:
“I need to learn how to decode the semantic relationships underlying two linguistic systems.”
THE ONE-YEAR EXPERIMENT
Therefore, we are giving participants one very simple goal:
Give us one year.
During this year, The Language of Relations will continue to evolve.
You do not need to have an extraordinary memory.
You do not need to remember every word in the English-speaking world.
Our goal is more realistic:
By learning how words are constructed, related, and transformed, we want participants to become increasingly capable of approaching unfamiliar literature, professional materials, and cross-disciplinary knowledge with the assistance of translation and AI tools.
Google Translate can help you cross a language barrier.
AI can help explain unfamiliar concepts.
And this book is designed to train you to:
know what to ask, how to break something down, how to look for relationships, and how to connect an unfamiliar concept to something you already understand.
Our goal is not to make you “finish learning English.”
It is to gradually develop your ability to move through a cycle of:
READ → DECODE → CONNECT → QUESTION → DISCUSS → READ AGAIN
THIS IS NOT A PROMISE OF INSTANT INTELLIGENCE
We will not tell you:
“Join us, and one year from now you will know everything.”
That would be a scam.
We will not tell you:
“AI will do everything for you.”
It won't.
AI cannot think effectively with someone who cannot effectively communicate with it.
AI can dramatically reduce the cost of acquiring and producing knowledge.
But there is a prerequisite:
You must be able to enter the conversation.
You must be able to read the material.
Understand the question.
Break down terminology.
Ask questions.
Connect information across different fields.
And determine what the answer AI gives you actually means.
That is what we really want to train.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO NOTHING
We do not believe everyone has to become an entrepreneur.
You do not have to enter the founder competition.
You do not have to build a company.
You do not have to enter the Risk Consortium.
You can simply come in, read, talk, learn, and leave.
You are allowed to do nothing.
You also have the right to believe in a savior.
You have the right to wait for a political party.
You have the right to wait for the government.
You have the right to believe that the world should first create a better environment for you.
You have the right to opt out.
You have the right to complain that you were not born into a wealthier family.
You have the right to protest.
You have the right to join a conspiracy-theory community.
You have the right to attribute your problems to the outside world.
Those are all choices.
We are not here to stop anyone from making them.
BUT WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE
We are looking for:
People who do not want to give up.
Even if you are not capable yet.
Even if you do not know what you actually want to do.
Even if all you can say right now is:
“There must be more than this.”
That is enough to begin.
Because ability can be trained.
Language can be learned.
Knowledge can be accumulated.
Relationships can be built.
Experience can be gained.
And ambition is sometimes not the starting point.
It is the consequence of discovering what you are capable of doing.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF SELECTION
Therefore, this round will not select people solely according to:
“Who is already the best?”
We are more interested in:
“Who is willing to keep evolving?”
This does mean that selection still exists.
The elimination rate may even be high.
The founder competition is not an unlimited-capacity training program.
Each competition will have a limited number of participants.
The exact capacity may vary by challenge, but the general principle is:
Each challenge is designed for a limited group — roughly 30–50 participants.
Once the Risk Consortium is established, it will not need thousands of people either.
It needs a small number of people who can genuinely take responsibility, understand structure, and produce results.
Therefore:
Learning is open to participants.
Governance is not automatically open to everyone.
You may receive an opportunity to learn.
Whether you eventually enter the commercial, governance, or risk-management layers is a separate question.
APPLYING DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE IN
Submitting an application:
≠ automatically joining Discord
An application is only the first step.
We need to control the scale of participation, and we also need to select participants according to the nature of each challenge.
If you are selected to enter Discord, you will receive:

A cross-industry reading and discussion environment
AI-assisted semantic exploration
Opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange with other participants
Eligibility to apply for relevant Challenges
Each Challenge will still have its own independent participant limit.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO ARRIVE POWERFUL
You do not need to arrive with an impressive résumé.
You do not need an Ivy League degree.
You do not need to have founded a company.
You do not need to have written a bestseller.
You do not need to already know Hollywood producers.
You do not need to already be a lawyer, professor, investor, or risk specialist.
Those things certainly have value.
But they are not the only sources of capability.
What we want to know is:
Can you learn?
Can you connect ideas?
Can you keep going?
Can you turn what you learn into something?
THE OLD ORDER WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY COMPLAINTS
After I published the previous recruitment call, the most common response I saw was not opposition.
It was:
silence.
I will not give up because of silence.
Nor will I compromise because of silence.
And I certainly will not dump every structure that has not yet been made public onto the table simply to beg people to look at it.
My response is simple:
Iterate.
Publish.
Observe.
Learn.
Modify.
Publish again.
Observe again.
Modify again.
Iteration creates selection.
Some people stay.
Some people leave.
Some people grow.
Some people are eliminated.
That is not failure.
This is the experiment.
THE SPIRIT
There is a very old American spirit here.
It is not about waiting for someone to announce:
“You have been chosen.”
It is:
Build something that proves you were capable.
This bears some resemblance to a tradition found in early Protestantism, particularly among the Puritans:
demonstrating one's capacity and calling through action, discipline, creation, and achievement.
But we do not ask anyone to believe in a religion.
We retain only a secularized core:
Don't ask the world to declare that you are chosen.
Build something that makes the question irrelevant.
You do not need to prove that you are one of the “chosen.”
Let the results speak for themselves.
THE INVITATION
So, if you are already capable:
Come.
If you have ambition but lack ability:
Come.
If you currently have nothing more than curiosity:
Come.
If you simply want to read a book for free:
That's fine too.
But if you are genuinely willing to give yourself one year to keep learning, reading, questioning, discussing, decoding, and trying—
then we want to know:
What happens when an ordinary person finally acquires the tools to understand a much larger part of the world?
That is the question we actually want to test.

You don't need to arrive capable.
You need to be willing to become capable.
Give us one year.
Learn the language. Decode the world. Then decide what you want to build.
Before You Enter
First, decide whether this interests you:
A risk-management alliance designed to turn open-source commercial ecosystem nodes into profitable strategic infrastructure.
Film and narrative are not the final objective.
They are one of the principal ways to make commercial ecosystem paths visible, understandable, testable, and scalable.
A film may succeed commercially.
A film may fail commercially.
Either result can generate useful evidence.
Step 1 — Decide Whether You Want to Participate
Ask yourself:
Do I want to participate in an experiment designed to discover whether independent people can build commercially viable ecosystems together?
You do not need to know your role yet.
You may participate as a:
creator;
writer;
producer;
entrepreneur;
lawyer;
researcher;
risk specialist;
or another qualified participant.
Step 2 — Apply
Apply through the recruitment platform where you found this challenge.
We do not publicly distribute personal contact addresses.
Your application only needs to state:
Real name or pseudonym;
Which challenge you want to enter;
Whether you are a U.S. citizen.
Your identity status is self-declared at this stage.
You are not required to independently prove it.
Step 3 — Enter the Private Discord
Qualified applicants receive an invitation to the private:

Discord server.
There you can read:

You may also request the founder's early:
Charter Consortium architecture;
structural diagrams;
framework materials.
Use them to decide whether you actually want to participate.
Not interested? Leave.
There is no penalty and no lock-in.
Step 4 — Enter the Competition
If you decide to participate:
Producers / Entrepreneurs / Lawyers / Risk Specialists
Enter the relevant challenge forums:

Risk Architecture Challenge
Participants receive posting rights in their relevant forum and commenting rights across the challenge environment.
The competition begins.
Step 5 — Creators Begin the Experiment
Creators receive:
Project ID
and their own project forum.
The initial narrative condition is simple:
The protagonists are first-generation immigrants to the United States.
Until the agreed temporal point, their actions do not alter the world.
At the agreed point, each story enters its own:
World-Impact Evaluation
cycle.
The founder may provide open-world consulting when requested.
Any consulting compensation structure is:
not predetermined.
The first such consultation must be collectively discussed and accepted as a good-faith protocol.
Any agreed compensation may be linked progressively to:
film valuation and/or commercial revenue.
No agreement:
Leave.
No copyright dispute.
No lock-in.
Step 6 — Find Something Worth Building
Producers and entrepreneurs may continuously evaluate:
the open-world mainline;
reference stories;
participant storylines;
film adaptation opportunities;
business opportunities;
commercial ecosystem opportunities.
When something appears commercially viable, participants may approach qualified third-party capital, including:
Wall Street / investment banking / strategic capital
for:
Letters of Intent
not immediate operating commitments.
Participants may also independently reach commercial agreements and leave the competition.
The only continuing economic consequence is any previously accepted good-faith consulting arrangement applicable to future commercialization.
Step 7 — Formation
When more than three qualified independent commercial or adaptation LOIs exist, the evidence may be presented to investment banks and other qualified third-party capital providers.
If dedicated formation capital is obtained:
Constitutional Formation Begins
Final participants meet in person.
Identities are confirmed.
Formation and governance are agreed.
Dedicated funds cover necessary formation expenses.
The Charter Consortium is established.
Delaware LLCs and applicable IP Trust structures are formed.
Existing LOIs become the basis for formal commercial agreements.
Third-party-controlled funds are received.
Relevant project SPVs begin operations.
The formation capital becomes:
an initial operating cost of the Charter Consortium.
The Rule That Makes Everything Simple
You do not need to understand the entire system before entering.
You only need to decide:
Step 1.
Then:
Step 2.
Then:
Step 3.
And so on.
You may leave at any stage before independently binding yourself to a separate agreement.
A Letter of Marque, Not a Job Offer.
You are not being hired.
You are being invited to compete for the opportunity to help build the institution.
The sea is open.

A Competitive Formation Program for the Next Commercial Ecosystem
The sea is open. The letters of marque are not.
The Narrative Wind Tunnel is opening its first competitive formation program.
We are not recruiting employees.
We are looking for people who want to build.
You may be:
an independent writer or screenwriter;
an independent filmmaker or producer;
an independent musician or creator;
a lawyer;
a researcher;
a political-economy student;
a master's or doctoral student;
a professor;
a risk-management professional;
an entrepreneur;
or someone whose current profession does not yet describe what you are capable of doing.
Your previous title does not matter.
You may be a lawyer who wants to become a writer.
You may be a researcher who wants to become an entrepreneur.
You may be a producer who wants to design institutions.
You may be a creator who wants to build a company.
That is allowed.
We do not assign your role.
Your results do.
FOUR CHALLENGES
1. Narrative Challenge
Develop stories, hypotheses and worldbuilding experiments based on:
practical commercial ecosystems;
open and non-monopolistic business models;
privately implementable institutional designs;
social coordination mechanisms;
ideas capable of being tested through narrative.
You do not need to agree with the underlying open world.
You do not even need to have read it beforehand.
The question is:
Can you turn an idea into something that can be tested?
2. Producer Challenge
Find and develop narratives with genuine commercial potential.
The objective is not simply to make a film.
It is to demonstrate whether an independent producer can transform an unknown project into independent market interest.
3. Legal Architecture Challenge
Design legal and governance structures capable of supporting independent participants, projects, intellectual property, commercial relationships and eventual institutional formation.
This is an architecture competition—not a request for free legal services.
4. Risk Architecture Challenge
Design systems capable of:
Predict → Manage → Transfer
risk.
The objective is not to pretend that failure can be eliminated.
It is to determine whether failure can be contained, isolated, transferred and survived.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The program does not require a conventional professional identity.
Ambition without capability is insufficient.
Capability without the ambition to act is equally insufficient.
We are interested in the combination:
Ambition × Capability × Result
The strongest participants may eventually enter the governance layer of the Founding Charter Consortium.
PARTICIPATION IS OPEN — BUT THE FORMATION STAGE IS NOT IDENTICAL FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT
The Narrative Challenge is open globally.
The following competitive tracks are currently restricted to U.S. citizens:
Producer / Film Adaptation Challenge;
Legal Architecture Challenge;
Risk Architecture Challenge.
This distinction concerns the formation and jurisdictional structure of the initial consortium. It does not constitute a judgment on the ability or value of participants from elsewhere.
LOW-COST ENTRY. NO LOCK-IN.
Before constitutional formation:
participation may be pseudonymous;
real-name participation is also permitted;
no participant is required to disclose a public identity;
no participant is required to sign a commercial contract;
no participant is required to invest capital;
participants may withdraw;
projects may be withdrawn;
participants may independently pursue other opportunities.
The program does not automatically acquire:
copyright;
ownership;
licensing rights;
adaptation rights;
equity.
You are free to leave.
And others are equally free to continue.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
The underlying architecture does not claim to have invented every component.
It deliberately learns from existing institutional patterns:
Hollywood writers' rooms.
Talmudic traditions of distributed interpretation and argument.
Viking organizational culture.
Disney's history of using films as part of larger commercial ecosystems.
But the objective is different.
Many companies make films because they have a film business.
Here, the long-term objective is to use narrative as an ecosystem development and market-validation instrument.
The film is not necessarily the destination.
It may be:
the advertisement, the simulation, the demonstration, the market test, and sometimes the business itself.
THE LONG-TERM IDEA
An open world can be used to explore:
Stories.
Institutions.
Business ecosystems.
Technology.
Commercial pathways.
Governance.
Risk systems.
And potentially:
real enterprises.
The consortium does not seek to own every successful project.
It seeks to occupy critical nodes within an ecosystem while allowing other participants to build, compete and profit independently.
We are not trying to build one company that owns everything.
We are trying to discover whether an ecosystem can become more valuable than a monopoly.
THE FOUNDING PRIVATEER CHALLENGE
This is why we use the privateer metaphor.
A privateer was not a salaried sailor waiting for instructions.
A privateer received a charter, built or joined a vessel, accepted risk, pursued opportunity and operated within a defined framework.
That is the spirit of this experiment.
We are not hiring people to execute someone else's plan.
We are looking for people capable of building their own ships.
The first participants who demonstrate exceptional ability may become part of the institution they helped create.
Not because they were promised a position.
Because they earned a place in the structure through results.
THE FIRST FLEET
The architecture already exists in substantial form.
The open world exists.
Reference narratives exist.
Commercial and organizational models have been developed.
Risk and cash-flow structures have been modeled.
The remaining question is much harder:
Can independent people actually build this together?
We do not know.
That is precisely why the experiment exists.

Writers bring stories.
Researchers bring hypotheses.
Producers bring market intelligence.
Lawyers bring legal architecture.
Risk specialists bring survival systems.
Entrepreneurs bring execution.
And nobody is required to remain what they were when they entered.
