We are getting a bit too 'soft' by now you might say! 😂So this is what has happened: Matured the app to v2.x. It's now looking more like a grown up trying to attract a more professional crowd. The diagram drawings are cleaner looking, added smoother features, updated the website, produced a video.... We will be using this little tool ourselves to save time, while growth hack around to see if others find it useful also...

Thrown some money on it without thinking or planning, and not so unexpectedly it wasn't very effective. Oh well, it was meant to be an experiment really. Screenshot Flow is a very niche tool which can save time for product owners, UX, testers, and just putting non-targetted advertising out to the wild for everyone was pointless. People outside of product development would not get the point of the product, and we were attracting the trolls leaving bad reviews without any constructive feedback.

Frustrating start to the day when we found ourselves stuck in the 'Newest' section, but to our surprise we got featured on the front page the next day which started the views and likes coming in to around 250+. the secret to our newly found luck could have been our outrageously flamboyant gif thumbnail we provided. (I am merely guessing here...) A very few of Product Hunt likes actually lead to purchases or even downloads, but nevertheless people were giving good feedback, and it lead to some cross references online which was awesome.

Launched on Google play quietly while still ironing out bugs. Perhaps not so unexpectedly, we found it very difficult to get any downloads without marketing, even just to make sure everything is up and running working. Also found that most of our users were in India, not really sure why.
