We all know vibe matters on Reddit. The community can smell inauthenticity from a mile away. But how do you know how you’re actually coming across?

Enter Reddit Vibe — a new feature in Subbit Pro.
It uses AI to analyse your posts and comments, then tells you:

• Your dominant Reddit persona type (mine: Helpful Developer/Entrepreneur)

• How well you align with Reddit culture (Community Fit Score out of 100)

• Personality traits (like humour, helpfulness, politeness, enthusiasm)

• Where you shine… and where you need work

For me, it was eye-opening: turns out I need to show more humour and warmth in initial posts. That’s the kind of insight I’d never have spotted on my own.

This helps marketers understand if their brand’s “voice” fits Reddit culture — or if they’re accidentally repelling the very audience they’re trying to reach.

Reddit can be brutal. You post, comment, and engage — but how do you really know if your account is healthy in the eyes of the Reddit community?

That’s why I built Reddit Health inside Subbit Pro.
Think of it as a fitness tracker for your Reddit account. It measures:

• Engagement rate (quality-weighted, not just vanity karma)

• Activity vs. discussion generation

• Comment quality vs. post quality

• An overall Reddit Health Score (0–100)

With one glance, you can see if your Reddit presence is thriving or flat-lining. Even better, you’ll get growth trends and health tips (like building karma or staying active).

I was surprised by my own results (Health Score: 49/100 😅). It instantly showed me where I was falling short.

Hey everyone,

A quick update after my launch post last week: the response from the Indie Hackers community has been amazing. I honestly didn’t expect so many of you to jump in so quickly with feedback, encouragement, and even pre-release registrations — but you did, and I’m super grateful.

I built Subbit.pro because I was frustrated with how clunky Reddit search is, and it turns out a lot of you feel the same way. Knowing there’s real demand out there makes me even more motivated to keep building in public and sharing progress here.

What’s Next

• Tightening up the AI results (less noise, more gems)

• Prepping early access so registered users can be the first to test features

I just shipped Subbit.pro  — a playful tool that helps you search Reddit smarter. Instead of scrolling for hours, you just “Subbit it” and the AI fetches the most relevant subs, posts, and threads, it does and will do much more than this but we are only at the start of this journey.

What It Does So Far

Your AI sidekick finds people genuinely talking about problems you can solve, figures out who's actually ready to buy, and serves up perfectly qualified leads with all the juicy context — no more endless scrolling required! Well its on the web so there's always a little scrolling ;-)

Why I Built It

Reddit is a goldmine of insight, but the search experience is… painful, as is keeping your leands and comments organised. I kept thinking: “There’s got to be a way to surface the good stuff without rabbit holes and wasted time.”

So I hacked together a simple AI search assistant. What started as a weekend experiment has now turned into Subbit, complete with a mascot, a shiny new site, and a growing roadmap.

Build in Public Vibes

I’m building Subbit openly, and I’d love feedback from this community. Some of the early challenges I’ve been wrestling with:

• Choosing the name (Subbit won over “ThreadLens” and “SubScout”)

• Landing a domain (ended up grabbing Subbit.pro after .com was gone)

• Balancing playful branding with something credible

• Making sure Reddit users see it as a companion tool, not a spammy scraper

• Improve result filtering (less noise, more gems)

• Explore visualisations for subreddit trends

• Add alerts so you don’t miss new conversations in your niche
