Hi Indie Hackers 👋

We’re SyncTrip — a social travel platform built to help people find and connect with others going to the same destination.

Most trips today are planned in isolation. People either travel solo, rely on friends’ schedules, or join group tours with strangers. Despite travel being inherently social, there isn’t a dedicated platform designed to discover and connect with people who are already planning to visit the same place at the same time.

We’re building SyncTrip to change that.

How it works:

• Users create trips for a destination

• They discover others planning to go there

• Mutual matches can connect and chat

• Travellers can coordinate plans and explore together

Instead of “joining” fixed group trips, everyone creates their own trip and then connects with others going to the same location. The goal is to add a social layer on top of travel planning.

• Improving the matching experience

• Growing an early user base

• Talking with travellers to understand behavior

• Iterating quickly based on feedback
