Timebender will integrate with Google Calendar. Google Calendar is a common tool to manage events. Events are day and time bound. Timebender works primarily with flexible time that can dynamically be scheduled between the start time and due time of a project. Almost everybody works with events (in Google Calendar) and they may have a serious impact on how much time can be flexibly scheduled. By integrating Google Calendar into Timebender and being able to associate events (from Google Calendar) either with a project, or — if it does have an impact on your availability but is not associated with a project, like having a work lunch — with availability only (so less availability remains due to this event) or it is irrelevant. This way the flexible time in Timebender will be scheduled in a much more realistic way, and produces a much more reliable schedule that you can rely on!

Timebender is a personal, deterministic scheduling tool, that immediately and automatically reschedules everything whenever you make a change to the schedule. Changing an estimate, adding a multi-phase project, a recurring time reservation, or a vacation all trigger a recalculation the moment you make the change (while changing it!). You can also set overtime preferences per project and on which days you want and don't want to work on a project.
This all gives you immediate feedback on how you're doing!
Do you get a call with a request for a new project? Quickly add it to the timeline and immediately you see how this project will impact your other projects and if you can take on the work or not.
A principle Timebender is built around: you only need to interact with the schedule if something changes, a deadline, an estimate, etc. If not, Timebender assumes you stuck to the schedule, and it will then auto-track you time spent. Again, only if you deviate you have to do something.
