Tradecovex
Trade copier + AI journal for NinjaTrader prop firm traders
I'm a futures trader. Over the last two years I've taken Apex, Topstep, MFF, and Tradeify challenges — and blown more accounts than I want to admit.
The frustrating part wasn't losing. It was that no tool could tell me why.
Journals like TradeZella and TraderSync showed me what happened — win rate, P&L, drawdown by instrument. Copiers like Replikanto moved my trades across accounts so I wasn't clicking 10 times. But neither talked to the other. The journal didn't know I was revenge trading after a loss. The copier didn't care that I was sizing up at 2pm on Fridays — the worst hour of my week, every week, for a year.
The behaviour killing one account was killing all of them simultaneously. Nobody surfaced it.
So I built Tradecovex. It's a NinjaTrader add-on that does both jobs in one tool:
Copies trades from a lead account to up to 100 follower accounts (prop firm traders run 10-50 accounts routinely)
Auto-captures every trade into an AI journal that analyses behavioural patterns — revenge trades, size escalation after losses, time-of-day edge decay, prop-rule violations like consistency ratio
The key thing: it tells you what you're doing, not what to trade. Pattern analysis on your own data. No signals, no recommendations.
Stack: NinjaScript/C# add-on, FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL on DigitalOcean Toronto, Anthropic API for the AI layer, Supabase auth, Lemon Squeezy for billing.
Currently in soft beta. First organic trial user signed up last week. Going to widen the beta once I've run a real E2E payment test and shipped a couple of compliance fixes.
Happy to answer anything about the build, the niche, or the AI-as-mirror-not-advisor positioning (which is also how I stay outside Canadian investment-advice regulation).
About
Blew too many prop accounts and no tool told me why. Copiers moved trades, journals showed P&L, neither connected them. Tradecovex does both, and shows the behaviour underneath your results before it costs another account

Hey man, just saw your launch post for Tradecovex on Indie Hackers. The problem statement hits incredibly hard—bridging the gap between trade copiers and journals to actually solve the behavioral side of blowing accounts (especially for Apex/Topstep challenges) is brilliant. Most journals just give you dead stats, not the 'why.' Love the direction you're taking this. Good luck with the launch!
Interesting build.
One thing I'd be careful with:
The challenge may not be proving that the patterns exist.
It may be deciding which moment makes a trader care enough to change their behavior before the next account gets blown.
That's one of those decisions that can quietly shape everything that follows.
