I’m Sam — a long-time self-hoster who believes small organisations deserve the same privacy and independence as big ones, without needing an IT department.

I’m building SelfHostSam, a platform that makes self-hosting work like a service: GDPR-friendly, EU-based, with no ads, no lock-in, and full data ownership. The goal is simple — let small teams collaborate securely without relying on big tech.

Before this, I spent years coaching agile teams on how to work better. And before that I managed huge development projects. And before that I was working as a software engineer. Have always hacked.
