Car rental has recently become an increasingly popular service. More and more people are renting a car, resorting to the services of transport companies of this kind. There are a lot of reasons why renting a car makes life easier and helps out in different situations. These can be - the organization of a wedding and a wedding convoy, a meeting of business partners at the airport or train station, the need to temporarily replace a broken personal car, a vacation trip or just to visit relatives - in all these cases, renting a car is impossible.

Usually, transport companies offer two basic options for renting a car - with or without a driver.

Renting a car with a driver is probably the most frequent type of service. In this case, the rental price is calculated for each hour of use of the vehicle or the distance traveled. This is the best option in case you need to rent a car to meet a business partner at the airport or train station, if you want to make a beautiful wedding procession or if you need a car for a short period. Renting a car without a driver is a suitable option if you are planning a business trip around the country, a trip to nature, to relatives in the village or to a country house with friends. In this case, the rental fee is charged by the day, and the longer the car rental, the lower the cost of the car per day.

Usually, rental companies locate their offices or representative offices in major cities, airports and railway stations and seaports. When planning a trip, check in advance the availability of rental cars in your city or place of your planned stay.

The main requirements for the driver are a driver's license, age from 21 years and driving experience more than a year. Rare companies are ready to pass cars by persons over 18 years old.

Cars are rented in good condition, usually not older than 5-7 years and with full insurance for all insurance claims. When renting a car without a driver, often rental companies require a deposit for the car, which is returned after returning the car. The more prestigious car - the higher the amount of bail.

As a rule, the price is calculated based on the time of use of the car. A car with a driver is rented according to the hourly rate. Car rental without a driver is carried out daily. The longer the car is in the lease - the less you have to pay. The cost of a car per day is reduced when hiring a car for 1, 3, seven days, etc.

When hiring a car, carefully review the contract and ask the rental company employee to instruct you on the following questions:

- your actions in case of a traffic accident, minor accident or breakdown

- how to behave if you are stopped by a car inspector, what features of traffic rules you should know

- management features of a rented car (turning on the light, the location of the fuel tank, setting up seats, mirrors, stereo control)

- what kind of fuel is poured into the car

- how safe it is in this city (region) to leave a closed car with luggage inside unattended

- some additional, hidden features of the car

- the conditions for returning the car (a certain place, the fuel in the tank)

Before you get behind the wheel of a rented car, carefully inspect the car body, headlights and glass for possible cracks, scratches and other damage. Mark them on the company's letterhead (or in the rental agreement) in duplicate. In this case, you will not have problems with the return of the car when the time comes. Also, pay attention to that license plates of a car coincided with specified in documents on the car and the contract of hire.

The car is issued with a certain amount of fuel. Specify in advance how much fuel you will need to return from the car. Otherwise, the company may issue an additional bill (at the same time taking the maximum cost of fuel for the calculation).

Sometimes, when renting a car for a day or more, companies advance to specify the car’s mileage and conditions for using it outside the locality where it was rented, but this is not often the case. Also, individual rental companies can offer their transport for rent, even if you need to travel to another country.

Following these simple tips will save you from possible problems when rent a car and help you make the right choice when considering offers from transport companies.
