Stop reading this article.

No, I’m serious.

Oh, alright then. But when you’ve finished reading this, stop scrolling, reading, watching and go and get some s#1t done. No excuses.

If you want to be successful as an entrepreneur, you need to find a balance between consuming and producing.

It’s a massive issue nowadays.

It’s easy to fall prey to “self-medicating” yourself with growth marketing blogs, podcasts, videos, webinars, and even silly Indiehacker articles like this one.

After a certain point, you’re doing it just for the sake of doing it.

It ends up taking up time that could be better spent by just diving right in and doing something.

The best basketball players in the world didn’t get to where they are by reading a lot of books about basketball.

They didn’t get there by watching a lot of games.

They got there by going out there on the court and playing the game.

  • If you’re a designer, design.
  • If you’re a writer, write.

Whatever you do, focus 80% of your time on doing and then think wisely about how to invest that remaining 20%.

Sure, you might want to check out a webinar or to read a couple of blog posts.

But perhaps it could be better spent elsewhere?

After all, there’s always so much to do.

Who has time to mess around?

Now go forth and get some s#1t done!
