At Wealth Meta we created three tools to scratch our own itch when it comes to organizing our finances.

  1. The first step to mastering one’s finances is to track spending and stick to a budget. Our Budget Tracker handles this - still in development with 1.0 launch by the end of 2018.

  2. Once a person starts to save and invest, a new problem comes up. They need to know where their money is and what asset categories it falls under to dial in risk/reward. Our Net Worth Dashboard gives total visibility in one place and links to live stock / mutual fund quotes and also supports offline assets.

  3. Finally there is knowing when you have “enough” or when you are ”financially free". We created the Income Spending Simulator to help make decisions about money and lifestyle. It is an open ended tool and can be used to model many money related scenarios, notably early retirement and major career decisions.

Our core mission is to promote financial literacy which we do at our blog. We also have a few embeddable calculators and other resources.

Unlike the big players in this market our approach is to protect our customer's privacy, never sell their data, and never pester them with sales pitches or up selling.

All of our tools are built with a security first mentality, sharing is the exception not the default, and we collect virtually nothing about our users to keep things anonymous as possible.

Going forward we are planning on a freemium model - users see ads or they can go for the premium subscription with extra features.
