My first business was an online clothing store and a retail shop in Austin, Texas. I am super passionate about clothing. I have been considering doing another online clothing shop.
I worked in Juice and health food for a few years before moving on to SAAS sales. I enjoyed selling SAAS both outside and inside. I have worked for YC startups and startups are my passion although I have worked for Fortune 500s.
I have been a digital nomad since 2014 selling SAAS on a eat what you kill bases. I really believe the future of work is remote. I am making an art book with my poetry as my first product to sell on www.cloeystarr.com

Ask IH: What is an Indie Hacker meetup? Why go?
Discussion of relevant topics
Help and Support
Make Friends with like-minded people
Best testimonial I have seen so far from our Denmark IH meetup:
"If you are an Indie Hacker or a freelancer, then you should most definitely attend these.
First, you will meet like-minded people and actually discuss topics that you want (or even should) discuss. In our group it's usually all about marketing, tools that people use, technology that people build their products on and pretty much anything else that's relevant to building an online business.
Second, you will get support and help. Maybe you are not good at coding yet (or you don't code at all), or you don't know much about growth hacking, or you just want to get feedback on the product you are building. People in the IH community are extremely helpful and literally try to come up with a solution right away, not by only discussing it but also by working on that solution (yes, they actually do that).
Third, you'll make friends. Being an IH is often a lonely journey but it shouldn't be. We started our journey as a group not long ago but I wouldn't doubt that many new friendships are going to be build along the way.
There's so much more to add, but I think it gives a short overview of what is actually happening during these meet ups and I hope it will inspire more people around the world to build groups of Indie Hackers, just like ours. You'll be amazed by how many like-minded people are actually within your reach.
Have you gone to IH meetup yet? What was your experience?
