I joined Indie Hackers because I want to start networking with other entrepreneurs. I live in Kansas City which does have a start up culture but oddly no real networking events aside from stuff put on by the Chamber and that's mostly attended by, well, NOT entrepreneurs.
I have a strict definition of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs create things where none existed before. So, I don't consider franchise owners, real estate agents, hair dressers, etc. to be entrepreneurs.
I'm the founder of Mass Street Analytics. We're a boutique data consultancy. I’ve been running that for officially for four years but I was freelancing without an official business for three years prior to that.
Mass Street is an elastic firm. By that I mean sometimes I have employees. Sometimes I don’t and I’m just fine with that. However, our product is BRAINS and I’m getting a little tired of selling brains. I want to create an actual PRODUCT. So here I am!
