Advice: Don't over analyse/postpone simple decisions, ship fast - it's an advantage being solo

Think of a time you thought of a feature, wrote up the plan and built it in a few hours. A startup would hold meetings, compare it with the roadmap and lose it among the long stash of to-dos

  1. 1

    Yes, yes, and yes!

(For what it's worth, I've worked in a billion dollar start up and decision making dramatically slowed down in the 2.5 years I was there)

The faster you can make decisions and test it out, the faster you'll learn. And the more often you can learn, the better chance you'll have to get to product-market fit.

However, with that said, make sure that you have a strong reason for each new feature you add to your product, and you take the time to design an experience that people understand how to use.

Otherwise, your product will get cluttered with features that are half baked and unusable.
