Reading a lot of super interesting threads, most of which relate to Saas products/projects. I was curious to hear whether some of you work also on non-Saas projects (eCommerce, F&B, personal training...).
Thanks!

Absolutely! We run https://threads.gg, an ecommerce apparel store focused on the esports community. It's one of two projects we're running currently and it's been a blast. Growing an apparel brand has proven to be a unique challenge (we're both software engineers) but we think we're on the right track!

Awesome! Keep it up

Appreciate the feedback! We were hoping it didn't come off as trying too hard, but in the end we didn't care because we liked it so much.

Your customers are paying $99/year - that's the definition of saas.
"Software as a service (SaaS /sæs/) is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted."
It's not centrally hosted so I don't think it counts. It's delivered through the Chrome Web Store but then you could say an iOS app that's subscription based is a SaaS as well.

Mostly SaaS, but I have plans for a downloadable product I'd like to release next Spring.

Cool! Keep us posted

Yeah, I'm amazed how many of the threads specifically mention SaaS businesses given how poor a choice they are for most inexperienced or solo entrepreneurs.
I'm doing a content-based membership-based service. It's definitely easier to get going than a SaaS, but of course I have to keep making content or else I won't have many members. Maybe someday, far in the future, I'll move onto something else, stop making content and let people access it for a one-time fee.

I’m working on a magazine. Well, an online magazine. Just got the domain from another owner a few weeks ago and now I’m the middle of some backend work and content editing.
It's based cross-platform, building it with Xamarin and it is a game that features image comparison and recognition to play a kind of "hide-and-seek" with friends/family/colleagues

Haha that's a fun one, I just subscribed

Awesome :) I've paused it since a week or two, as we're expecting our 3th child any day now.. but I'll get on it asap 👌🏻

I run a site where winter sport holiday homes are listed. Although home owners can pay a yearly fee for "pro" features, the main income stream is "service fees" when a booking is made by guests. Since it's season-bound, revenue declines greatly during April - December.

The website is looking bit flashy and it catches the visitors eyes. Design is pretty simple and a good user friendly interface.
