The idea is to link to this page from our Instagram bio (as well as any giveaway announcements) to encourage more email signups.
Feedback on the following points would be greatly appreciated <3
Layout (is it okay for mobile as well)
Copy (especially!) Is it clear what the benefits of the product are and is the copy enticing, hence creating interest towards the product.
Design (quite straightforward?)
We've hidden the navigation and footer on this page on purpose. Good idea? Bad idea?
The "Travelling?" bit is an attempt at storytelling and creating an emotional connection to an eventual situation that usually creates a hassle for folks.
Disclaimer on the "yes I agree". The idea is to convey the message that we don't spam but only send insightful personal newsletters.
Anything else that comes to mind.
Thank you in advance!
To be honest as a designer I think it needs work to be good.
I am not a big believer in fold. I think users scroll and scrolling is not a problem however in your site there is no clear indication that I have to scroll.
Copy is too long and without key points. Monochromic. Hard to read in terms of design. Specially on mobile you have long text block before any real eyecandy.
I am huge fan of minimalistic design however in many times it is hard to get it right. You have to play with type, paddings and margins etc. Sometimes for marketing sites it is good idea to bring in a bit of colours (even if your brand is very lightweight and minimalistic and monochromic) to point users in desired direction.
Details matter. Also your site has horizontal scroll so something is not right with html/css either. I didn't investigate that now.
Hidden navigation and footer. Probably good idea. You don't want to direct traffic away. Logo could be good idea. And minimalistic footer with some contact information etc to build trust.
Travelling is good idea. For storytelling you have to think about the big picture. Guy on the picture is not really travelling. Least for me it is not the message.
What to do.
As I am not much of a words person I did very quick ugly and not perfect design to illustrate some of my ideas.
