Ask IH: Idea Validation - A customizable website feedback plugin

I'm thinking of what to build out recently and I'm thinking of pursuing the following idea:

Problem: Every time a website asks for my feedback, whether it's a button, popup or the full screen, my brain just subconsciously ignores it. I feel like a lot of people are the same way.

Solution: I'm thinking of building a javascript plugin that can be customized to create a more engaging feedback solution. For example the website owner could use our service to create a little tab on the bottom of their page with their own title, when clicked would bring out a feedback form.

I feel like a little feedback tab on the bottom of your page that says something like "Roast my website" or something else out of the ordinary "Leave Feedback" would drive up user engagement. Or if you launch a new feature on a page you could have the title of the tab be something like "What do you this of the new feature X?".

My service would collect the feedback and could provide analytic tools.

If anyone out there has any feedback for on this idea or thinks this would be useful for them, please let me know!

Thanks

It's not clear to me how are you going to solve this problem. Usually all the popups or forms are absolutely customizable, the problem is people use default values and tests. So, how are you going to differentiate from the existing solutions?

this might work or might not, I think you need an MVP to test this on some websites first. See the response rate and based on that data, we can say its a good idea or not.
