Ask IH: trying to validate pricing for new feature

Wondered if you could help me! At my content agency, we get a lot of requests from solo founders and entrepreneurs who are perfectly capable of writing their own content, but need guidance as to what content they should focus on.
So, we thought about offering "content strategy" as a service.
How it would work:

We analyze your current website. Look at what content you've already written

We analyze your competitors websites. See what content they write, how long their average posts are, where they link to, who links to them, what topics they cover etc

We then provide you with a monthly report as to the topics you should write about that month - based on real data.
We're currently unsure what to charge for this service, so keen to see if it's something any of you guys would use and how much you'd be willing to pay for it!

If I am getting this right, afterwards you can help with some of the content as well right?
I would personally try to keep the pricing quite low with the hope to turn as many as possible into long-term clients that will use you to implement the strategy.
Or maybe if they use you / have a contract with you for X amount of services, it could be included as the first step once they've handled an initial milestone payment.
That's exactly right!
We do this process for all our content clients anyways, but often indiehackers and solo founders don't have the budget yet to create the type of content people want to link to etc.
This would serve as a healthy middle-ground.

This is a nice concept, I wont say its a new concept but helpful. I am sure website owners will find it helpful. But I can't say anything about the pricing. you can check out what your competitor are charging & can get an idea what you can charge.
Cheers for the reply! Granted it's not a new concept. It's actually something we offer within our own content packages.
With that said, as a standalone offering, it would be something new for us!
We've spoken to our current clients who have given us their views, but just wanted to speak to as many people as possible :)
