Ask IH: User Management + Recurring Billing SaaS Product Idea
Hi, this is an idea and I want to ask IH if it's really a problem.
This is an SaaS Services, remove the pain point of coding User Authentication + Billing Processing yourself (cost ~ $19 per month for 1000 users). So that you can just focus on building your Product, we'll manage user and charge them for you.

We'll handle

Recurring Billing Handling (send Invoices PDF, ask for Payment, update billing status, ask for payment reminder, charge to Stripe, ..)
Then we'll send user information (user-gid / username / email / pricing_plan / user_settings / billing_status) to your application (encoded as JWT token or send to your API Webhook). You just need to validate JWT Token.
So do you think this is a viable SaaS business?

Billing settings (allowing customers to upgrade/downgrade/etc)
Checkout
Seat management (for per user per month model)
Login (for seats and users to login to the SaaS)
We are currently working on a few more, but had the same exact idea when we started :)

How would this be different from https://www.chargebee.com/ and https://www.rebilly.com/ .
Is there a specific niche you are targeting .
May be you could look into supporting more payment partners , a year back i was looking for a similar solution for Indian customers , which integrated with Indian payment gateways but there was no solution then .
We had to manually build a solution which ran on air-table at the front end .

Oh yes, that sounds like a great solution. I'm a marketer by trade and a wannabe developer by night and to me, user management and billing always sounds like the most overwhelming part of any project. I'd super intrigued by your offering if you put it together as a SaaS!
