What was the most creative cold email subject that you wrote, which resulted in a very high response rate?
Why do you think it worked so well?

We included their company name in the subject line.
"Hey! I'm wearing a [company name] t-shirt!".
That got ridiculously good open rates.

I saw your blog post. Neat idea. I was listening to the "Intercom on Marketing" audiobook, and one thing Des Traynor said he did was to cold email his leads with a demo video of how specific feature could help his lead's business. So I think the key you also used was that you really customized each email for each of your audience. Your subject has an element of curiosity which helps a lot. Good info, thank you!

To be honest I think I would open that email as well. Even though I know I don't own any known companies 😅

“Quick question...”
“Problem with your { thing }”

Well... It's funny when I tell you this,
but we at draftss.com write minimalistic emails with the subject line: "Hey" or sometimes "Hey <firstname>"
and it seems to work out well in getting a high response rate for cold emails.

I send cold emails every once in a while and personalization is what's made the biggest difference WRT open rates.
Using the person's name in the subject line helps a lot!
As far as getting a high response rate, I'm no expert here haha but being authentic is a good start. Shooting a quick video somebody can watch easily via Vidyard or Loom definitely helps me with that :)

I think it really depends on the product itself you are trying to sell! But I'm interested in reading what others do!
