Great accomplishments. We can see what you got back in revenue, can you tell us what you put in, monetarily, time, and effort?

Or if you prefer to summarise, on average what do you put in to get that first revenue?

I read on an article (about Shopify stores), on average it takes 20 days to get the first sale. I can share it if others are interested.

    1. 1

I work 2-3 hours a day to achieve those numbers.

  2. 2

Wow nice! Your social network audience is huge. Having never really tried to grow my audience this way, I’m feeling inspired.

    1. 1

Cheers Simon, I can't empahsis the importance of building up your own network either personal or for your brand.

  3. 2

You're getting some hype with Cooee! I've heard of it from outside IH and thought it was well established from a long time!

It's missing a developer side (you should maybe do dedicated landing page?) but overall it's nice!

    1. 1

Great to hear Cyril, I love free advertising :)

Can you elaborate on "It's missing a developer side" I don't understand what you mean :)

      1. 1

You mention it being for designers, dev and small business owners, but on your "Twitter network", only designer oriented twitter profiles are displayed.

For your pricing, I would go more on a "depending on your need". In my case, I'm not interested to target designers, so paying global is not useful, and thus expensive for me. If I could only select "Small businesses" or "Devs" or both, and have the price being updated to reflect that, would be perfect! :)

Who is your POD provider for Desket?

    1. 1

I use Teelaunch, I would highly recommend them :)

  6. 1

@daviddel How you manage your time with a lot of projects?

    1. 1

A lot of automation and trello :)

Very nice! Any tips on building your IG audience? I often see "world class this and that specialist" only to see "followers 100k, following 99.5k", which I think is ridiculous :D. I have one organically grown profile, where I follow 100 people and have 2k followers (and that seems to have more sense to me). Cheers!

I don't think you can follow more than 7,000 users on Instagram?

Any tips, yeah there are a few on my blog I also run a course on how to grow on Instagram - LINK

Oh gosh. I'm sorry. Even if your course works, you lost product credibility in my eyes the moment I saw that count down timer.

I'm pretty sure that "50% OFF FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS" will be there in 3 days on your site. Just providing honest feedback - I hate countdown timers. Most prominent example, SitePoint offering all their books for $9, offer ends in 8 hours 52 minutes blah blah been up there for the last year. I'll never use a countdown timer on my product, unless I schedule the actual change when it finishes counting down. I get it's "creating urgency to buy", but in my eyes - it's also a lie. Sorry for being harsh, don't take it personally.

Sorry, may have confused the example with Twitter, but you get the general idea :D. Thanks for the links!

    Thanks for sharing !

What kind of marketing goes into Desket?

    1. 2

I market all my products across my own network, which I built up over the past 2-3 years. The network is roughly 2M plus across Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and Facebook.

Gotcha - Any tips on how to build such a big following?
