Better User interface

Hey IHs I have a question can better User Interface (UI) because a unique selling point (USP) of any product?

Yes. Look up Aesthetic-Usability effect. It is a type of cognitive bias that you can easily take advantage of.

People perceive attractive products as more usable and tend to believe that things that look better will work better — even if they aren’t actually more effective or efficient.

People are more forgiving to bugs in better looking products.

Thanks Mr.Singh that is really a very helpful resource

  2. 2

Definitely, but remember there's a difference between visually pleasing and more usable. Some people will use a product because it looks beautiful, but an interface that gets the job done quickly and clearly can make a lot more money.

An example I see often is Amazon. A lot of people talk about making a site that looks better, but Amazon has a pretty boring/old-school look because it works incredibly well. In fact, a lot of bootstrappers recommend copying the popular sites because they've had the money and time to do A/B testing and see what works best :)

that is a very good point to be noted, thanks
