      Thanks a lot @ih19 🙌

I really like what you did with the '3 months free' idea. Helps you release early and gives a greater sense of value to the user. Smart!

Coding payment and restrictions will delay the launch. But always remember, a dummy premium plan will not validate the product.

We can say it's validated only when people start taking their card out of their wallet and pay for the service using real $$.

      1. 2

        The undeniable truth :)

Congrats on your success and thanks for the write up!

    What tech stack were used?

      ReactJS + NodeJS + MongoDB

Is the actual widget in reactjs or just jquery?

        1. 1

The widget is written in plain vanilla JS which makes it smoother and lightweight.

Great article, thank you for sharing your story 🙂What do you think is the best way of overcoming haveGreatIdea recursion? I am stuck there for a long time.

    1. 4

Glad you liked it @Happy ☺️

I think haveGreatIdea() is an issue most makers face, especially when they are indie/solo. Actually, I am still exploring options to crack this down 😁

Sharing the idea / progress and making yourself accountable to the public is one way. Launching fast can also help.

Let me know if you know any other technics.
