Brainstorming new ways to capture users
Before I launch https://logits.co/, I'd really like to fill up the mailing list a little more.
We are a community of on-demand Machine Learning freelancers, so the focus are startups who need ML work done. Wondering where I could go to capture these people? Reddit was a little bit of a fail so far (just people being skeptical).
You will probably need to narrow your focus down. Most startups don't need ML work and if they did, they likely already have a data science team in place as that's their core competitive edge.
A potential angle might be entrepreneurs trying to build an ML/AI-related startup. What you could do is check out companies who's hiring a data scientist ... possibly skim VC firms' websites and check out their portfolio companies.
LinkedIn: Try and find ppl at companies who are interested in ML/AI but don't how to get started)
Quora: Become an expert on these topics and tag your company at the end
Can you elaborate more on how it works? I read your process, but is there a way to demo the process itself? It may clarify why it's a better option than Upwork.
Have you tried https://www.producthunt.com ? Beside that if I were you, I would try through social media. Maybe spending some money on well targeted adds.
