Whats the big deal about PH? I never really "got" it and from what i've read it's audience is ADD and more just users exercising the PH site than giving any real traffic to most all projects that get featured.
Would love to see a follow up post in a month that identifies what metrics getting featured on PH impacted, and how they played out over a month. Signups, Churn and MRR are the big three i'd be curious see.
I would say that it definitely depends on your product. Many people here are probably creating something for a completely different target market.
With that said, we saw a huge increase in signups - we'll see how many convert after the free trial ends.
Also, a successful PH launch can serve as social proof, help with SEO, and serve as a long-term source of traffic - you can continue to get referrals from PH long after launch day.
