Does anyone have a good source of stock photos?

I always struggle when it comes to adding imagery to my websites. I've come across free stock photo websites before but pictures of coffee cups, macbooks and desk plants don't do a great job of decorating my SaaS site.

Any of you guys know of a good image source for images that look 'at home' on a software product website?

Cheers!

EDIT: Thinking about it I'm not sure why I originally specified free, I don't mind spending a little :)

We often use images from pixabay.com as they are free. And from time to time depositphotos.com has some great offers (I think they've bee on AppSumo)

Actually, there are many, and some really good ones include https://unsplash.com, https://www.pexels.com, https://pixabay.com

But if you need stock photos for some specific niche then you'd have to dig deeper than the surface.

It's basically a problem of too many now and hence we created https://duper.app/

to show all free photos from all these places in a single window.

Do check it out if you wanna save a ton of time. And of course, if you have any feedback for us. That would be super awesome.

I've actually soft launched a new tool for searching and discovering new stock photo sites. 109 sites are listed right now and you can run advanced searches on any of the sites from the same form, with the results loading in new tabs.

It's a good way to try out a lot of new sites at once and filter to only show sites that have what you need (like: free / photos / commercial use / no attribution).

If you're interested in using cinemagraphs check out my site www.clipstill.com. Small file sizes and infinite loops make them great for hero images, and they offer something a little different to grab users attention. Each month there are some free cinemagraphs to download.

This also works if you have a camera and no budget - I'll often find photos I like, and use them for inspiration to create my own. I have a decent camera, and it's not terribly hard to get good-looking photos that are created specifically for your site.

I've used https://www.fotosearch.com for stock photos. they have quite few at $3-$5. Obviously not free. but pretty close.
