[Feedback please] Podflix: Podcast discovery and search engine
Hello IH,
I am an avid podcast listener and wanted to build something which I really wanted. Currently, I haven't seen an app or platform where we can search / slice and dice podcasts.
So I am trying to build something Podflix to fill that gap. Please let me know if you guys have any feedback/feature requests you would like.
Have you seen www.podchaser.com? Both seem cool, yours just needs more content. What revenue streams are you considering?
Also, change your favicon from the standard Vue one, and change your app name from podflix_frontend to just Podflix in your config files.

Also if you do have some time. Take a look at the recommendations part and let me know what you think. Not perfect but that's something to start without user interaction.
Yes, I have seen it. I am trying to focus this site more on the recommendation side of it.

For revenue stream mainly concentrating on featured ads.
On the revenue side, I think a very interesting approach is to partner with www.spots.fm, by Justin Jackson @mijackson and Jon Buda @jonbuda, who are also making www.transistor.fm. Basically Spots is an ad platform for podcasts. If your podcast recommendations are good enough, you could become an affiliate marketer for Spots, such that whenever you refer new subscribers to a certain podcasts and they can sell ads to more subscribers, you can get a percentage of that profit.
Ya have talked about this with @mijackson. Let see want to make sure the recommendations are top quality.
