First Customer on Find A Maker

Hello everyone !

Another post to share the excitement of getting my first customer ! :D

I posted last week about my first customer on another project (https://www.indiehackers.com/forum/i-got-my-first-customer-today-c0d5c9b35b)

And maybe some of you noticed I was sometimes talking about my new project : findamaker.io - A job board exclusively for side projects and startups.

I wanted to create findamaker to help freelancers and makers to find side projects to work on, on a long term basis. Makers can now "hire each others" or create partnership and work together on their projects.

I distributed a lot of coupons to my friends so they could create a few job post on the website, in order to make it look not empty.

But this morning I received an email from Stripe saying someone paid the full price to post a Job Offer for a Startup!

This is so unreal... damn. I really can't believe it..

For anyone wandering:

DESIGN:

I designed and build the whole thing from scratch with VueJS. I'm working with a designer at the moment to re-design the whole thing.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

I'm currently investing 10€ per day on Google Ads. It is generating between 100 and 300 visitors per day (depends on the day).

No twitter / facebook ads yet.

Product Hunt:

Not yet launched, I'm waiting to re-design the website and get maybe a few more job posts.
