Great job on speaking that much to customers in these earlier days, that will make it much easier to build a landing page to sell more of the problem in the future ;)
Also love your advice on "Should this product be built" I love when people take that approach and end up with amazing results like you guys, respect for that!
Cheers!

Hey, creator of Starter Story here! Awesome to see IH covering this story as well. Thanks @bunsen!

Thanks Pedro! We appreciate the support!

This is awesome! So happy that my cryptoroulette project inspired a real business.
I would love if you could offer lets say ALL top 100 cryptos for like $500 or $1,000.
1
@BartBoch Thats an interesting approach and we are definitely looking into this as a potential offering in a future release.
2
Auston, do you see any other opportunities in crypto that currently do not have a great product or solution?
2
Absolutely, our product is just one solution to the problem. How can we make cryptocurrency useful is a big problem that has many solutions!
2
Amazing idea! Congrats
2
How legal is this? Can you actually buy cypto coin related products using credit cards?
2
Hey @hemanpage ! I’m Mario on of the cofounders of CBlocks. We actually spoke to legal experts in the crypto space and so far we have been in the clear.
We want to be sure to keep everything legal so we are working with merchants in the US to better align ourselves with their TOS.
2
I would be very careful buying cryptocurrencies for other people. The SEC made it clear that securities laws apply to most of them, so your service might be seen as financial advising for which you would have to be licensed.

@anastalaz appreciate the feedback & concern. We're treading carefully, although we think what we've created is a collectible or memorabilia more so than an MSB. We're in discussions with our legal counsel to ensure we're not operating outside of the law!
1
Congrats! Seems like a nice intersection of ideas!
Was your marketing mainly sending the mail to journalists? Did you know any of them?
2
Some journalists we reached out to on Twitter and through their websites contact us page. Some though found out about us from articles that were written.
2
Incredible, sometimes highly technical people are the worst to validate an idea. Thanks for the info!

Nice!
The revenue numbers dont say much... How many USBs are you shipping?
1
We shipped 80+ USBs during our first 30 days :D
1
80 * $50 = 4k this doesn't fit with the numbers in the chart which sums up to 25+k in 1 month. Do you have another revenue source?
1
Hi @kerberos84, if you actually take around ~$375 (above average price points) worth of coins ordered per USB stick times ~80, it produces ~$30K.
I'm assuming that's more or less what happened. More people purchased the $200 & $500 sticks than the lower end ones.

Ok, now I'm impressed :D well done! All the best with Cblocks!
Nice. Skimming off the foam of the bubble.
I am super excited by this product! I think this could work very well for gifts too!
@Vinrob quite a few of our early customers bought this as gifts for their loved ones, so I definitely agree.
Would love to chat more with you about this idea if you have time. Can you email me? auston.bunsen@cblocks.io
Awesome story Auston, what coincidence I found you yesterday in this interview haha:
