About one month ago I started my own 12 startups in 12 months challenge and now I am writing this to share with you what I have been working on.
Project: https://www.growthstore.io
Blog Post: https://chriswiso.com/first-startup/
What do you think about the site? What could I change?
For those of you wondering why Growthstore already makes $10k MRR: The project is a rebranded version of a social media management service that I have been offering for the past ~2 years on a different platform. I have moved all of my clients to Growthstore.
Would you like to sell your service through Growthstore?
Become a Partner: https://www.growthstore.io/become-a-partner
I am thankful for advice, tips and your opinions.
Best,
Chris
Since the primary value you're offering is "curation", you should tell people a LOT more about your curation process. Otherwise, it doesn't look like an appealing place to hire anyone.
Appreciate the feedback!
How are you making sure all partners signed up are high-quality? I think the largest opportunity in this segment is trust. there are a billion fivverr growth guru's but they all sell HYPE a bit too much. I like that yours is simplified a bit.
basically, most people want WHITE-HACK growth, and knowing that your team/partners can offer it would smart to promote.
Before anyone gets to offer their service on the platform I make sure to personally test the service and verify the quality. A gig only ever appears on the marketplace, if I am satisfied with the results and the seller actually delivers on what they promise. I guess I need to put a lot more effort into the sales pages and explain every service in a more detailed way. Your feedback is definitely appreciated!
The site looks awesome! How long did the design take?
I didn't spent a lot of time on the project design as most of it was already done by the previous owner. However I restructured the whole site and I changed a lot of things here and there which took me 2-3 weeks.
I knew i have seen this site before. Looks good
Thought I was going mad too!
Mind if I ask how you came to acquiring it? I'm always on the look out for built projects that I can put some effort into but only really know of the usual suspects (Flippa generally rubbish, Empire Flipper generally pricier end for anything worthwhile)
I discovered the project on PH and contacted the owner directly.
Hi Chris,
I really like your website. I'd say one thing you could do to improve the website is to describe some of the services in more detail. For example, the premium SEO package, how do you actually go about improving SEO? I understand the things involved in SEO, so it's difficult to say you will move up X spots or pages, but what will you provide specifically? Some articles, backlinks, etc.
I'm curious about the Reddit front page, how do you achieve the results? And is it that predictable that you can achieve the top of the page all the time?
Hi Nick,
I appreciate your feedback a lot and I will definitely put a lot more work into the description of every gig on the platform.
The "Reddit Front Page" gig uses different marketing methods that are in all cases compliant with the Reddit TOS to achieve the promised results. I have personally verified this. It is not always the case that we're able to get your post to the front page of a certain subreddit, especially if it's a very trafficked subreddit and the content quality of your post isn't that great, but I would say that 8/10 times we can get your post to the front page. Of course we provide a full refund, if your post doesn't reach the front page. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I'm consfused?
The affiliate program offers 75%
Grow your business by working with us. We'll send you clients and 100% of your fee.
That's like your paying out 175% of every gig.
Also, do you charge to list?
At the moment I don‘t charge anything to be listed on the platform and you get to keep 100% of your revenue.
The comissions for our affiliates vary dependent on the service and of course our sellers get to decide if they want to be part of the affiliate program. For example we offer 50% in commissions for our Instagram Growth and Twitter gig.
looks like it is quite similar to

I find it difficult to see the point of your reply. Is there only one company that does smartphones or password managers? No. Growthstore is nothing new, it is just a different approach like so many other startups and my aim is to provide better value than every other competitor.
