Customer Pain, Fail Scenarios, Brand Vision & Company Culture.
Would you rent developers from other company to build the next project? Especially when rented developers have lower prices than in-house or local freelancers.
Stores simply have signs that say - "Rate us on Yelp" or "Review us on TripAdvisor". The customer needs to take steps to open the respective website/app, search for the business and then write a review.
Any physical store - Retail stores, Salons, Restaurants, Doctors office, Car dealerships etc

I'm new on Indie Hackers so I believe it would best to first present myself.
Together with a friend we've decided to start a new (side) project to boost productivity at work.
We launched a landing page 2 weeks ago and got some very positive feedback.
Yet, we're currently looking for more feedback to prove ourselves we're on the right track.
In a nutshell we're looking for 3 things:...
I'd like to share what we've been working on and get some feedback.
Today, people travel & move around constantly. We developed a social app to share moments when on the move.
I am thinking to build an app that shows informations on best places to visit and explore.
Places like "Ancient Thebes with its Necropolis", or "Chernobyl Nuclear Plant". I think there is already something out there ( I looked in producthunt) but it didn't seems to have really took off (like https://vivere.travel/ ).. I wodner if it worth to build it or it wil...
I'm super eager to tell you a bit about the product idea I have. I have a guilty passion for learning. I work in the domain (HR - Learning & Development) and long term I'd like to combine consultancy, coaching, and a product to help people structure their learning process. :)
One of the things I discovered is that when starting learning something, people feel overwhelmed. First, beca...
Hi Hackers !
It’s Tony here, a fullstack developer. Love to building kinds of interesting stuff. Right now, I’m working on an ad blocker service. The very early demo is almost out now. Here I need your suggestions or ideas about it.
When Google ad block on the web, most of them come out with content blocker, specially on iOS. Have to install kinds of softwar...
👊Punch me! It is your turn...
In the last several months, I have critiqued your landing pages, judged your copy, questioned your business acumen... now it is your turn.
My brother and I have been working on www.onefinaldoc.com since last Christmas. I would really appreciate your brutal honest feedback, even though I guess IHs are not the target audience.
Is it clear what we are trying to solve?...
service.apiKey = 'somekey'; service.sendEmail('email@example.com', 'body').then(...);
I had to build a landing page for myself and I created a "mini service" to send emails from js (as I didn't want to use MailChimp's UI). You will have a dashboard to mana...
SaaS for getting an overview of all (company-wide) projects?
Hi all! Me and my team was facing this problem in the last months for multiple times: We were not able to tell if another team in our company built/is about to build a solution for a specific request that we got.
We had no overview about all projects of our company. Some teams were using Trello, some were using Taiga, some didn't use a p...
Indie hacker seems to be a good community, but my only concern is interactability within the member of the community. People seem uninterested in responding to new members and helping to solve their problem.
Are there any experts here? I believe there are. I hope they become active and forward their hand for help.
I hope this will change, I hope startup like us will get necessary suggestions and u...
I built another restaurant review app, but I simplified the review system to an upvote/downvote system. So you can rate up/down menu items if the food was good or not and rate up/down restaurants if you'd come back. The intention is to strip out long, unreliable, yet influential reviews and instead promote restaurants by the total count of upvotes and dow...
I’m working on an idea and hoping to get some validation.
The product is a digital platform for contract, who makes it very easy to create, sign and store contracts.
Based on various issues, the desired contract is auto-generated.
E.g. Employment Contract or Freelance Contract.
Send the contract to all recipients and sign the contract with digital signatur...
A simple side project idea: custom careers/"we're hiring" pages for companies. Very often companies want a careers page on their site. This would instead provide a simple hosted page or set of pages. The page can be themed with banner/company logo etc. and linked to your home page and have a company-specific subdomain e.g. my-company.career-page.com. It would include a contact form for p...
#idea-validation My idea is "Scheduled Broadcast for facebook messenger bots". You can think of this idea like a mailchimp but for bots. I will develop a platform where a chatbot Admin can sign up and schedule broadcast that they can send to the users. Proposed Idea will also handle subscription and un subscription of the user.
What do you guys think?
Hello Hackers :)
I'm at the idea stage for a website / app and am looking for some input...
Idea: A website/app that matches communities with physical spaces, and makes it as easy as possible said communities to collectively rent or buy that space.
An example case: Say we have 200 musicians in Chicago that would love a space to jam and record music in. They connect via the app (or perhaps via grou...
I work as a cognitive behavioral therapist, and I like to code in my spare time.
For a while now I've been helping people that are having trouble sleeping with something called cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. I'm currently developing a web-app that's based on this method, and I need beta-testers.
I'm taking the advice of shipping early and offering free access to the program (with p...
We are building a Slackbot for managing Github pull requests to review.
You just have to invite PoolRequest into the channel you want and start to use keywords to add, list and review pull requests easily. The product is made for developer teams (>2).
Here some questions whose answers could be very useful for the advancement of the product. Let me know ...
Hey hackers, I'm working on a product and hoping to get some validation.
I assume many of you are engineers and may have worked in industry. Our product is focused on a tool for engineering/devops teams. A colleague and I have built Deltatrail.io which is an internal changelog used for infrastructure and operational changes. In a previous role, we used something like this cons...
Tired of looking for your next property on dozens of real estate websites and find nothing that pleases you?
We launched Ritzy to try to change that by reversing the roles in the search for properties. Submit your requests and receive exclusive and private listings from real estate agents and other professionals.
We are starting with an MVP and working in more features that will be avail...
I know a lot of you are podcast fans, so I have a question for you: Would you use a platform that let you pitch podcast episode ideas to hosts?
Once you've submitted your idea, other people could upvote it if they also wanted it recorded. Users could pose questions for the episode as well.
Podcast hosts could browse through the ideas and 'claim' the ones they want to tackle. After...
Hello hackers 🤩, I am working on an application and would want validation on the idea.
The application makes it very easy to view an entire timespan for a project along with the tasks. You can add tasks, add subtasks and add subtasks to that( and so on), and you will be able to track them on a timeline like a gantt chart. 📈
The core features are
View the project tasks on a ti...
I am going to start a new #sass project with a popular and common idea (!). As we already have a good number of customers from similar projects (graygrids.com / uideck.com ...). I think it's high time to introduce a page builder or site generator to serve existing customers and reach diverse potential cust...
Hey fellow hackers,
Thank you all for the vibrant community!
I've encountered the issue with Zendesk customer support online service that they do not allow receiving files larger than 10 megabytes. Gmail is also limited to 25 mb per attachments. So along with a freelance developer I've made a small web app prototype that works like this:
user signs up and configures a branded "inbox" ...
Hello candid hackers,
I want candor. I have built Flower Butlr (https://flowerbutlr.com/). It allows you to automate your thoughtfulness. Flower Butlr remembers your loved ones birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, etc. and sends flowers on your behalf every year (of course confirming beforehand).
Would you use it ?
If so, put your fingers where your mouth is and sign up :-) (yo...
Does this markdown documentation tool exist?
So today I was looking into options for adding a documentation/knowledge base for plausible.io
I can write markdown fluidly so the fastest option would be to use a markdown-based documentation.
There are plenty of open-source site generators and what not, but I don't want to deal with hosting this myself. I would gladly pay $5-10/month right now for a s...
hey hackers, my sister and I are working on a concept in which we get you insights about links shared on group chats (whatsapp, slack, etc) even if people don't click on them.
If you want to help us validate this analytics tool please leave your email in this typeform => https://jose770.typeform.com/to/oThd0J
ShowIH: Live video communication that makes remote work easily accessible for teams.
I'd like to share with you an experimental product that helps to make remote work easily accessible for teams.
It connects remote teammates via live video, providing an individual sense of privacy.
The individual sense of privacy allows your team to remain connected via live video without feeling discomf...
How do you deploy your software?
Did you set up continuous integration and continuous delivery from the start?
When starting my own projects I find that it's a time-consuming process to set up automation and a deployment pipeline early on when I just want to play around with an idea. I'm thinking of building a tool that automatically configures the operations aspect of software products so that I ...
Solving the “get out of the building” hurdle.
“9 out 10 startups fail because they build products no-one wants”
Reaching your product-market fit means talking to your potential ideal end users and buying decision makers.
Easier said than done, especially for B2B.
You’re thinking of building, are building or have built an accounting software which has smart features that other simila...
In the early stages of building this and would love feedback on my idea!
I'm building an online e-commerce site that would allow users to compare product prices from different sites (amazon, ebay, etc..) and would provide different forms of analytics such as analysis of product reviews and shipping times. The whole goal is so that the user can quickly tell if the product is right for them.
So I have a basic landing page..but lack a clear concept of what the site actually will do
any feedback would be helpful to getting on track .
use left click & mouse wheel to explore..all links are active
