How building a community helped us successfully launch on Product Hunt with +1400 votes!

βœ… Build a community that loves your product, focus on making them happy and they will help you grow!

Our community started small, and now has over 2400 Plutiopions (https://www.facebook.com/groups/plutio)

My motivation behind building Plutio was my eager to making a difference. I wanted to truly support and help change the way freelancers work for the better.

So it made sense to try and connect with them, listen to what they need and shape Plutio with the help of the community.

Building an environment in which customers and leads can interact with each other and directly with the brand made a huge difference, because:

A) Customers started to help each other and share ideas, reducing support tickets and building loyalty at the same time! 🀯

B) Leads were inspired by how everyone was using Plutio which contributed on converting them into becoming customers later on. 😱

C) The community become our number one reliable source of feedback and ideas.

D) ...and most importantly... The community gave everyone a sense of belonging - and there is nothing more powerful than having your customers feeling that they belong to your brand! - they will talk about it, market it, teach it to others and help you with whatever you need. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜

When we launched on Product Hunt, we asked everyone if they would help us by leaving a review on the launch page, and within few hours we hit 100 reviews and hundreds of up-votes!

You know why they quickly jumped in to help? Because they are part of the community (brand) now and they will do their best to help it grow and prosper! 😍

The quick flow of reviews and up-votes helped build validation and drive the interest of fellow Product Hunters, which eventually led to our successful launch πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

So, I now truly belive that our successful launch comes from spending years building a following, which helped us validate the idea, market it and launch it.

And my advise to you? Start building your following... πŸ‘ŒπŸ»- and if you need help getting started, you can message me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/loaibassam).

I hope this helps, and good luck with your launch! πŸ‘πŸ»
