Great story and article man! I recently had lunch with Jeff Ponchick in Venice not too long ago. Great guy! Very happy for you and the acquisition seems like a win-win for both of you guys! What are you going to work on next?

Going to be putting more focus and energy into building automation tools for other platforms like Spotify, etc.!

Congrats it looks great! How much did you sell it for?

Why is Facebook blocking your links?

Either the links has been reported as spammy, or their system thinks it is spam!

Congrats on the acquisition! Nice to see another interview here in the music industry. I run a site called SynthShare.com which is a community for producers. The biggest challenge is that this is a niche that doesn’t seem willing to spend any money on a product even when it’s a relatively low fee for something users say offers a lot of value. I would love to hear your feedback and advice for the site if you have a moment to spare.

That is something I kind of forgot to mention, but you are right. Artists are not willing to spend money, because it is already very difficult to generate some when starting out!

Lovely story! Cheers

I always love to see those linear growth charts! Healthy steady growth.
Did you mostly grow trough word of mouth or did you facilitate any other marketing / growth strategy?

I'd say word of mouth, the shareable tracking links and the ranking system were the only marketing/growth strategy!
