Hey gang, have you heard of InVision? They’re a design and prototyping SaaS that’s grown to 4 million users, and a billion dollar valuation (oddly enough 70% of their users aren’t designers, part of their uniquely successful model).
I spent a few weeks reverse engineering their growth strategy, and wrote an article with everything I learned.
The coolest thing: InVision drove most of its growth without relying on traditional marketing tactics like paid advertising, high pressure sales tactics, or manipulative growth hacks. They turned out to be one of the most authentic, community focused SaaS start-ups I’ve ever come across.
