How often do you deep dive into Google analytics and webmaster tools?
I’m just curious because I do a deep dive about once a week and always find something interesting.
Sometimes, I see completely irrelevant websites are linking to me and sending traffic my way and even discover new social networks like zest.is
How often do you look at Google analytics and what’s the most interesting thing you’ve found while there?
I take a glance at least every day, main things I'm looking for are spikes in traffic & referrers.
i use them often, almost every day. Also i use Yandex Metrika with webvisor tool, very helpful tool for analyze
Interesting tool how does it compares with GA? Do you see similar data between the two?
Yes data is pretty similar, but sometimes its not. But main features of Yandex Metrica is webvisor (you can view how users interact with your website), heatmaps, clickmaps, link deep volume maps, and last update is users, YM tracks every user info (from which traffic source they come, what pages they watched) but you dont know who it is. But there are steps how you can identify them.
I use Google Analytics every day. I use to use Bing but stop using it.
Not so much webmaster tools, but google analytics I look at every day.
