How Transparency and Good Timing Helped Me Capitalize on New Tech

+1 for the quality of William's starter kits - this guy really knows what he's doing. Also, the code is almost as beautiful as the templates themselves (which is rare) :D

Thank you Louis 🙌🏻 Really appreciate it.

William is very helpful. Learnt a ton watching those videos. Now I make my own beautiful RN apps.

😍Woah, this warms my heart. I love that you are now building your own cool apps :)

Would love to check out the YouTube videos, but didn't notice a link.

This is great. In the age of better, smarter, faster, I feel like these sorts of starter kits will help teams jumpstart way quicker. I also love the idea of live coding on YouTube - a focused, distractionless environment.

Thank you for sharing your story, William! I am building templates with Ionic and I was looking at Creative Tim's example too. Really great to see your success.

Thank you 🙌🏻 Good luck in your venture 💪🏻

Hi @wcandillon your youtube is incredibly helpful!

    1. 2

      woah thanks a lot 🙌🏻

Congrats on the early success! Have you experimented with pricing and how it affects conversions? The kits seem like they are priced low for the amount of value you're providing.

Yes I've been playing with prices quite a bit. I'm quite happy with the current state of things. One thing I haven't played with yet is to offer limited discounts.

@wcandillon thanks for sharing this. Yep, the React community and market is pretty large. I'm also developing a React (web) component toolkit. Hopefully will publish something here soon. It's encouraging to hear success stories like this one.

"Try With Expo" is brilliant on your website. That's the sort of thing I'd be looking for as a developer wanting to use this. Really nice job, William. :)

It's super cool indeed but unfortunately this might have to disappear in the near futur: https://blog.expo.io/upcoming-limitations-to-ios-expo-client-8076d01aee1a

Ah, such a bummer... Still cool while it lasts. :D

Broken link; "a React Native market place" points at something messy on this domain not the target domain

      Should be fixed now :)
