How would you promote the stoner cleanup initiative?

Back in July, someone on Reddit came up with the #stonercleanupinitiative, encouraging stoners to clean up their smoke spots. It went a little viral, and several follow up posts did too.

So, I bought thestonercleanupinitiative.com, ranked it for the branded terms, registered and filled up the social media accounts, and designed a few shirts to sell on Teespring.

The social accounts have some decent followings and the site gets some okay traffic, but that hasn't translated to sales. Every time it has shown up since on reddit, the comments usually say "I sure would love to buy a T shirt," but nobody bothers to google it. Even when I send them a link individually, no one buys. I've sold under 10 shirts to date.

This kind of thing clearly isn't my forte, so what would you try next? I've considered doing a little influencer marketing, but I've been hesitant since the other investments haven't paid off so far.
