Hi,
In last few months, I have seen many people posting status and updates on Twitter and LinkedIn about their job search struggle.
I have been thinking very hard on how I can possibly help them find a job.
At the same time I have been using hacker news, producthunt and indiehackers a lot.
So I thought of building a platform which combines hacker news and producthunt like voting system but for job seekers for endorsing them to find a job.
Here's the link.
Would appreciate some feedback.
Cool idea - can you share any insights about the upvote mechanics? On Product Hunt, it's because it might be a product I want to use (or I'm building up my own social status as a forward-looking tech person).
But on your site...would I be upvoting other people? It kind of feels weird that I would upvote someone I've not worked with and don't have any connection to.
I ask because I'm deeply thinking about liking / upvoting mechanics for my project (www.tribefive.me).
With that said, good luck on the project. This is a cool and different way to tackle the job search market!
Cheers,
Jonathan
I love the mission statement for this. The elevator pitch is one that i think people will want to support.
like the idea! Smart way of looking for talent!
I like this, i'd love to see a similar setup to product hunt - up voted designers/developers/marketeers etc for the day/month and so on.
I think this makes it much easier for new users to establish themselves on a platform like this, which can be hard!
I've pre-registered, interested to see how this goes.
Is it something like "CoderCV.com" ?
No. It will be more like Product Hunt. :-)
People Hunt ;)
I love the idea of a job board that is not a job board anymore... is something more useful, more smart, something better... I hope you can do it...
