I got my first customer today!
I woke up this morning and saw an email from Stripe saying one of my users subscribed to the starter plan of my web app webradio.io
It's only $5 a month but damn it feels great! Such a motivation boost !
I almost gave up working on this product but now I want to work every day on it :D
Just wanted to share the excitement!

Congratulations Clément! That feeling of having the first customer is pretty amazing, like an Adrenaline rush. Keep that going on.
One recommendation, try to learn as much as you can from the initial customers. This will greatly help in giving direction to your product.

Honestly I thought it was kind of a bug at first, like if my deployment pipeline ran a unit test that triggered something in Stripe or something.. but then I checked Stripe and I was like... HOLY SHIT I AM NOT PREPARED FOR THIS.
My invoice system on the website is still clunky, there are so much things missing (in my developer opinion)
I thought about this the whole day and I still feel very weird that someone actually paid for this service
I have the impression that I owe this customer so much because the website can still benefit from a lot of work
I love that you thought it was a bug! Thanks for sharing with so much honesty. It makes the story that much more awesome.

I am riding in similar boat and eagerly waiting for first client to on board the tool. Having a SaaS API product makes it difficult to explain to people. But having my fingers crossed.

At first I had some ads running on facebook, not much, but I was able to get my first 50 registered users with this.
Then I stopped facebook and setup a few ads on Google Adwords, for the amazingly low budget of 1€ per day.
This is running for a few months now
I posted the project on Product Hunt as well but only got 4 upvotes
Any reason you stopped on Facebook and went to GA? Was it just to test both? And curious what the heck do you get for 1euro per day?
Sounds stupid but... Google Adwors require way less work.
You simply setup a bunch of ads and Google will test them for you, and you'll see the ones that are the most effective.
Also, it seems that my product suits better this kind of "search and found" funnel, instead of facebook ads, which are more intrusive and you didn't really asked for it
FB ads are better for ecommerce product and impulsive purchase, I think
GA is more if you have a product that solve a problem, then people will search and find it easily
And as I mentioned, FB ads require waaaaay more work
