How to get involved

We're currently looking for:

Venue 🏠 Co-working space, restaurant, or bar that can host ~12 people.

Food 🍔 Thoughts on catering vs going out afterwords?

Organizers 👉 Want to help get this event started? Leave a comment.

PS: Anyone going to JSConf next weekend?

I'm definitely interested. Located in Laureles in a new coworking space. I can ask about hosting here?

PS - didn't know about the conference, know any hookup for tickets? The site says its all sold out.

Hey Wolf, I found a couple tickets for sale ~$250/ea, still looking?

    2. 1

That would be excellent if you could ask them about it.

RE Tickets, I got mine through a friend, I'll ask around if anyone else is selling theirs.

I'm not in Medellín right now, but hoping to spend a few months there from January onwards. Will definitely attend meetings then! (and I hear @csallen might be making an appearance some time as well)

Sorry to hijack your post, but do you (or anyone else who lives and works in Medellín) have any advice for a newcomer?

Start with the Digital Nomads Medellín Facebook group and associated Ebook:

        Awesome, thanks a lot!

Exactly what I was looking for :)

Will reach out nearer the time. Thanks again!

    2. 1

I'll also have a lot of cafe recommendations for Laureles

Hey Anthony, I think this is a good idea. I can make a few suggestions in Poblado.

    1. 1

That would be great, I don't know Poblado as well as other neighborhoods but it seems like it would be the right place to host the meetup since it's more or less the center of gravity of digital nomads and the like here.

What venues would you suggest there?
