Hi guys, đź‘‹
Here we’re again!
After the impressive outcome of the first 4 landing pages (in case you missed it, here is the first post), I left the IH community with the promise of building 4 more templates, and to turn this venture into a huge gallery of free HTML landing pages for startups.
It hasn't been easy to keep moving in such a short timeframe, but today I'm very thrilled to present you our brand new gallery, alongside with 4 new templates!
Meet Cruip 👉 https://cruip.com/
As usual, all the templates are totally free to download, and this is something that we're not going to change for feature updates too.
Just three quick notes:
Why we're building it?
As explained previously, we’ve found that there is a pretty common path with makers and early-stage startups: They build excellent products, but they don’t have a budget or skills to set up a well-designed landing page! It can be a huge handicap if you’re just starting out, so this is our attempt to solve that matter.
What next?
We’ll keep adding 1-2 new templates per month on Cruip.com, and alongside that, we’re considering additional resources like UI components, inner pages (login, about, pricing etc..) etc..! Honestly, we don’t know yet, so if you’ve any suggestions please let us know.
Fan facts
Thanks to spontaneous donations (via Gumroad), we’ve covered server a domain costs for a full year!
With the first 4 templates, we’re generating something like 1K downloads per week.
So far we’ve collected a few thousand emails via Gumroad, with almost 0 marketing activity.
Please keep sending us feedback and suggestions, and if you find these landings useful spread the word! It will keep us highly motivated! ✌️
Cheers,
Davide
Absolutely stellar work once again Davide.
These aren't just great to look at, but they also incorporate best practices such as social validation etc. The markup/css looks nice and tidy, too.
Thank-you for making these!
Hey, Davide! These are absolutely awesome! I've been working on something similar in the last couple of weeks - small landing pages to give away (in Sketch so far, thinking of also coding them). Seeing how beautifully-made yours are gives me confidence to go on, maybe I'll complement yours someday. Great job!
Hey Andrei, thank you very much :) Happy to hear that you're pursuing a similar path! If we will be able to truly help the movement, I'm sure there will be huge benefits for everyone!
Of course, and I can't wait to take a look at your Sketch templates :)
Just so you know, downloading Evelyn actually gives you Ellie!
@n0clu Thanks for reporting! We've just fixed that, you just need to refresh and download again :)
These are gorgeous. Thank you, Davide!
Awesome stuff @Davidep86
Incredible templates. Thank you so much for these. Very excited to hear about your success.
Hi!
I will use one of your landing page in my little side-project :)
Coming soon..
Great job and good luck! 👍
Hey Micheal, it sounds great! Please keep us posted when your landing page is live, and good luck for your side project :)
Great to see that a site has gone live. I searched and searched and searched for your previous thread when I was looking for a landing page (IndieHackers needs to up their game when it comes to search).
Oh man, this is amazing! Think I might need to give Ava a try to replace my current home page :)
This is great!
I'm a backend developer and I've always wanted to improve my frontend skills for my current / future side projects.
This is great to learn how to build great landing pages with great examples!
Thanks for that.
on the sienna template are you supposed to replace the boxes next to each 'Discover' heading with your own images?
Hi Grainger, exactly! You can re-use also the "external" shapes, so keep the same look and feel :)
Great work. I am using one of your templates as a base for my current project.
The only con I have is that changing the SVG images was a little difficult. If I want to use a jpg instead there was a bit of work to do that.
You could do that easily. After setting up npm scripts as described in the Readme file, include images in the src/images/ directory and replace the svg with an img tag. If images are the same size of the SVGs there isn't anything else to do, otherwise a few CSS tweaks may be required :)
