Hi,
Yesteday, I launched "The whale", a website dedicated to web developers and indie hackers community. This website publishes a curated list of links (articles, services, tools, resources, tech event, job/freelance announcements) every week to help developers doing their technological monitoring.
You can follow The whale on different channels:
Online: https://thewhale.cc
Newsletter: https://thewhale.cc/newsletter
Twitter: @thewhalecc
Mastodon: https://framapiaf.org/@thewhalecc
I would be happy to have your feedback, wishes or remarks.
Thx :)
Looks great so far. :) What's your process for keeping on top of what's new?
You're missing a contact form and an email address for people to send you tips? I was going to send you a link to my website auditor browser extension (https://www.checkbot.io/) and web best practices guide (https://www.checkbot.io/guide/). They should be relevant to your readers if you want to take a look.
Simple, I follow several RSS feed, I filter twitter with keywords in Tweetdeck, same with Mastodon, I read several dev forum, I listen several podcasts and my Firefox bookmark is full of nice tools and services.
Thanks for your advice, I will add a contact address.
Looks interesting! How does The Whale curate content? Are you the "curator" behind it all?
Yes I am.
I've been a front/back developer since 1994 and I have been monitoring technology for years for my own use. I thought it would be more useful to share it online to create a community.
