Hey IH, yesterday has been a big milestone for me (Squadlytics is generally available) and I wanted to say a formal thank you to the community. I only joined IndieHackers a month ago but it's been an amazing trove of knowledge in that short timeframe - I'm really impressed by how people are genuinely willing to help each other here.
Building a business is a marathon and I'm probably only at the 3rd or 4th km but it's great to take time to appreciate how I got there. Thanks @csallen and @channingallen for building such a great place to find advice and support!
We can only wish we are that far in the marathon 😃 (as makers collectively). Indeed it's a long road, but good job on making it to those 3/4 and good luck with going forward!
What's the plan for the next 6 months? 👍
Thanks Julian! With regards to the plan, I like to use the AARRR funnel model to decide where to focus. From a product perspective the next quarter will be focused on Acquisition, Activation and Retention (50%, 25%, 25%).
If I manage to hit my goals at the of this quarter I'll start looking for someone to join me on the journey. I really miss having someone that I can bounce ideas off, and that can also be critical of the strategy, vision and execution. It's really easy to create an echo chamber otherwise.
I can relate to this. Having a SOLID co-founder you can trust is a huge benefit, especially considering how long it takes and how hard it is to build a successful business.
Congrats Sten, love the website and the landing page. It all looks great and very carefully considered. Definitely keep us updated!
Thanks! 🙏🏽
Congrats! This accomplishment and the work it must have taken you to get to this point is really something I'm sure this community can appreciate.
Congratulations on going GA!
Congratulation Sten, Good Job!
Definitely add a link to your product! Congratulations on your launch; love the design & color scheme! Looking forward to seeing you take off :)
I just added the link :) Didn't want to look too opportunistic as I really wanted to thank the people here. I work remotely far from the tech community that I'm familiar with, so finding some support online is amazing.
