Just launched... Fathom Analytics
Just launched our PRO (paid) version of our open-sourced software. We've been getting so much traction from the free version, we wanted to get a paid version out the door. Now to see how well the hosted/paid version does... 😎
Funnily enough someone else launched a simple, privacy focused analytics platform onProductHunt today as well! Didn't see that coming (we had ours planned for a month). Such is software I guess.

I set up the self-hosted variant and it's really nice! I like how unobtrusive it is.
Ideas: clear API docs on how to use it from other JS (e.g. existing logging infra), the library as a npm package, auth on the dashboard/API.

Nice idea... Having more privacy conscious tracking. How will you attract customers?
We've been building up a pretty decent list (4k), as well as a decent community on our GitHub repo (3k+ stars), and really just hitting the pavement and telling people with good old word of mouth.
Our customers are people who can afford a service (i.e. it's for their business which generates revenue) and who want simple stats quickly, with total privacy (EU customers, since we're GDPR compliant).
It seems simpleanalytics are #1 on HN right now.
Yes, I saw that. That happens though - you launch a product months earlier, then someone else does the same afterwards and theirs gains traction faster...
