I'm interested to hear about the logistics side of things, how long does it take you to draw one of these avatars? seems like it requires a lot of work. I'd offer the possibility of ordering a physical copy of the avatar for an extra charge.
My suggestions: add more content. Text, blog, even an affiliate program if you can.

Hi Jetleg. It usually takes me between a few hours to half a day, but I put the turnaround time on the website as 3 days to avoid backlogs or delays in case I have a lot of orders at once.
I do have a blog which is a separate website from Sketchy Pub. I just made Sketchy Pub to be a quick ordering service for one specific thing - portraits - since it's my most requested product.
I'll definitely include the option of getting the physical drawing for a charge. Thanks for that idea.
