Landing page for BestResume.io, what do you think?

Hello,

during the latest evenings I managed to finish the landing page for https://bestresume.io.

So today I'm here to ask you if this page is good enough to understand what BestResume is, and if you think will attract some interest.

Feedbacks are more than welcome.

Thanks in advance!

      Hi,

thanks for the link, it's interesting but at the moment I believe it's too early for a professional feedback. The landing page is too small, I will take your service into consideration for the next iterations when I will add more details.

      Thanks!

        Hi Dario,

The feedback response seems to have bounced back returning "The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. "

Nonetheless, here's the response on the feedback:

        • Wow! The first look seems very very good. Very professional. Wanted to scroll so hard and check out the rest of the landing page but felt slightly disappointed to see it is a single screen landing page. I understand that's because you are a private beta currently.

        • The logo could be slightly bigger

        • The fonts used looks pretty good

        • You should use a tint of the purplish logo in the sub-title "At BestResume...hired". You can use purple color to highlight 'BestResume', 'hired'.

        • Try changing the Redish Pink color of the Review my CV Button to purplish blue. That should help you increase your conversion rate. You can try doing an A/B test to see what works the best.

        • I am assuming that in Private Beta, you are offering CV reviews for free; if that is the case, you should mention it somewhere. Like the Button can read "Review my CV for FREE" or you can add a "free" label next to "BestResume is in private beta."

        • Responsive version of the website is not very catchy enough. If the majority of your users are coming from mobile, then you should try and get the responsive version done much better.

This is pretty much what we think are the important aspects that need to be improved primarily. If there is any point in the report that you did not understand or want more clarity or needs to be discussed on any point in detail feel free to mail me back.

If you get the changes done and would want me to review it once again, I would be more than happy to do it.

I like the idea! It'd be helpful to know who you or the reviewers are and why you're qualified to give resume advice. Does it cost money? Before handing over my email or resume it'd be great to know a bit more about what the service is. Perhaps adding an about and/or pricing page?

      Hi Connor,

thanks for your feedback. Yes, a short description of how reviews are done is in the making and I will add it to the page as soon as possible, probably by the end of the week. For the pricing I still have doubts, it will come but not so soon since I don't want to rush the decision and I need more feedbacks to understand the value.

      Thanks again!

    Hello @darioghilardi,

    Congratulations for shipping!

I must agree with @shaneketterman here and provide something more "concrete" to bite.

Otherwise, I wanted to say the design of the page, the logo as well as the typography itself are amazing!

Did you design it yourself, pick a template or did you go with a professional designer?

      Hi Omar,

      thanks for your feedback!

I took inspiration from other designs but yes, in the end I decided to work on it all by myself. I am a programmer and this is the best I can do without wasting too much time. Far from perfect, but if it delivers the message I am happy :-).

    Hi there @darioghilardi,

I like the idea of course but the page to me is a bit sparse. I do see it's in "Private Beta" but I don't get a sense of what the outcomes are. Perhaps providing some "before" and "after" examples would provide a bit of incentive.

Perhaps have some examples, a few testimonials, and some of the top level benefits because a lot of people feel that Resumes/CVs are outdated and generally not needed any longer - so maybe speak to that.

Lastly, maybe tease some pricing so people have an idea of what they can expect.

    I love the idea though!!!!

      Hi Shane,

thanks a lot for your feedback.

I took note of everything and I already started working on a new iteration. I realize it's pretty minimal for now, it's good to know that I need to provide more details to make it more understandable.

      Thanks again!
